A clear path to
agentic work.

AI is opening up new possibilities for how we work, build, and run systems. Claramap helps you put that potential to work through strategic advice and scoped builds—backed by 20+ years of engineering judgment.

Offerings.

Strategic advice, scoped builds, and training.
Support for the next step in your AI journey.

01 / Strategy

Find the strongest opportunity.

Explore where AI can save time, make knowledge more useful, and help your team do more. Shape the opportunity into a focused, achievable build.

Explore strategy
02 / Workflows

Connect thinking to doing.

Connect agents to the knowledge and tools your team uses. Define permissions, review points, and recovery paths so people can trust the work and intervene when needed.

Approach

AI engineering is still software engineering.

Less code written by hand. More judgment.

AI creates more room to explore ideas, connect knowledge, and improve everyday work. Thoughtful implementation turns those possibilities into useful, dependable systems your team can build on.

Independent advice. Experienced judgment. Hands-on delivery.

The experience behind the work

Mathew Mathew

Principal, Claramap

I bring more than 20 years of product and software development experience, building distributed systems and big data applications across Fortune 100 enterprises and startups.

At IBM Cloud, I led AIOps and observability initiatives supporting approximately 200 SREs and service engineers, delivering data platforms and agentic automation for infrastructure operations.

I have also led large cloud and mobile transformation programs, from AT&T’s cloud migration through Amdocs to mobile product strategy and delivery for Fortune 100 clients.

You work directly with me, from shaping the opportunity and choosing the architecture to implementation and handover.

Four beliefs that guide every engagement
  1. 01

    Independent. Vendor agnostic.

Advice starts with your needs. I assess models, platforms, and infrastructure on their merits, make the tradeoffs explicit, and keep your ability to change direction in view.

  2. 02

The right tools for the job.

Choose the simplest approach that meets the need. Sometimes that is an agent. Sometimes it is a deterministic workflow, a database query, or a better process.

  3. 03

    Practical implementation.

Start with a useful problem and carry it through to working software. Evaluate it against real tasks, connect it to existing systems, and make it maintainable by your team.

  4. 04

    People first.

Build with the people who will use and operate the system. Keep them in control of consequential decisions, make the work understandable, and leave them with the knowledge to own it.

Working together.

A few practical answers
before we start a conversation.

Will I work directly with Mathew?

Yes. Claramap is my independent AI engineering and strategy practice. I shape the strategy, make architecture decisions, and build the software. Each engagement has a focused scope and my direct involvement.

What does a scoped build include?

We agree the problem, intended users, deliverables, integrations, and acceptance criteria before work begins. Evaluation, documentation, and handover are part of defining a build your team can use and maintain.

Can you help take our prototype to production?

Yes. I review the existing product and intended use, then scope the application, infrastructure, evaluation, and operating work needed for the next stage.

Can you collaborate with our existing team?

Yes. I work with founders, product leaders, and engineers on a defined problem. Your team stays involved in the decisions, reviews, and knowledge transfer.

Do you offer advisory work or training separately?

Yes. Strategy and advisory work, implementation, and training can be scoped separately or combined around the outcome you need.

How do we get started?

Send a short description of your product or workflow, your current stage, and the outcome you want. We can then identify the useful starting point and agree a scope before work begins.

What would you
like to make possible?

Bring a workflow, a rough idea, or a question.
Let’s find the right place to start.
